Vintage Darkroom Enlarger for black and white photography
For sale is my Enlarger with its lamp, lens, lens assembly, negative carrier, stand and base etc suitable for printing black and white photographs from 35mm films.
The Enlarger stand is branded MEOPTA [Meopta Prerov traces its roots back to 1933 when Optikotechna company was established in Prerov. Initially, Optikotechna produced lenses and condensers but quickly expanded its product line to include enlargers and much more. After the war, the company was renamed Meopta. Apart from military deliveries, the company became one of the world's major manufacturers of cinema projectors between 1947 and 1970.(https://www.meopta.com/en/brief-history/)]
The head/lamp is what I think is referred to as a wasp style. Note that the rim has slight damage (see the photos). Except for that rim, which I am assuming is easily 'rounded' again, I believe the whole unit is in excellent condition.
The vintage lens assembly AXOMAL IA typ 74215 was made in Czechoslovakia; also has the Meopta name on it.
The lens is a Minolta E Rokkor 50mm f4.5 Enlarging Lens - Screw Mount . It is housed in a Minolta case where the lens screws in.
The negative carrier is all there.
In the past I developed and printed my own black and white photographs but I no longer do this. I still have boxes of photos I enlarged and printed using this equipment so a buyer can look at the quality when they come to collect the equipment.
